Getting here / Check-In

Check-In:

It is very important that I have a close-to- reliable time for arrival as I am the only person available throughout the day to arrange access. There is no Reception. It is simply impossible to stay in and attend to all arrivals from 12.00 to 8.00 p.m. or later without knowing when guests are expecting to arrive, especially with diversions and road works etc. It is strongly advised to have a mobile phone to contact me to give reasonable notice on the day. In my absence, alternative arrangements are sometimes made which allows guests to enter of their own accord. It is practical and convenient for both concerned but not regularly encouraged.

Call 07980943883 Steve.

Arrivals are usually anticipated from 4.00 p.m. on weekdays, 2 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Earlier arrivals can be arranged subject to agreement (e.g. weddings etc) and depending on room readiness. At worst, keys can be collected and baggage dropped off from 12.00

Directions:

From the M4 leave at Junction 32, then follow the A470 North (Merthyr Tydfil) to Caerphilly (taking the 3rd exit off roundabout, following Castle signs to Caerphilly).

Alternatively, leave the M4 at Junction 28 and follow the scenic route to Caerphilly via Machen on the A468.

If arriving from Cardiff by car take the A469 over the Mountain to Caerphilly or the A470.

Buses depart from Cardiff Central Station.

Valley Line trains operate to and from Cardiff regularly. Sunday trains tend to be every 2 hrs.
