Places to Eat

The following list does not mean that Ty Castell Guest House endorses or has preference for any establishments listed or not listed. Menus and booking requirements should be checked by yourselves. Some establishments are very busy at weekends and mid-week. Menus ( & tourist leaflets) have been removed from guest house premises for more Covid-safe environment, and are likely to be out-of-date anyway. There are numerous other niche takeaways in town; easier to Google Map.

Except for those marked * the establishments are within town, located on Cardiff Road / High Street or proximity to Castle Shopping Centre / Caerphilly Castle. For out of town, and more 'ambience and character', try the Travellers' Rest on Caerphilly Mountain, by car [3-4 minutes]!
