CORONAVIRUS UPDATE [06 July 2020]

We are anticipating being open to welcome guests from 11 July (subject to Welsh Government announcement). Bookings can be made directly or with booking.com. We do take the current health crisis very seriously, and welfare of myself, my partner and guests is paramount.

Please consider personal health condition prior to stay, with regard to possible symptoms of virus and capacity for spreading infection to others. Contact details will be taken with usual data protection, but offered to authorities if necessary as part of any track and trace requests.

Guests will have minimum interaction with host save for initial welcome (with visor), and messaging where there are queries. Advise arrival time as closely as possible.

There will be no room service within a four day stay, although towels will be changed daily.

The rooms are self contained with ensuites and tea and coffee facility. There are no shared facilities on premises at present. Guests will however have to make contact with door handles and bannister, and pass each other in hall, stairs and landing. It is requested that guests make use of hand sanitizer station, and make appropriate passing space and otherwise keep 2m distance. Breakfasts are not offered in dining room but a takeaway / grab and go snack can be purchased by arrangement.

Ty Castell guest house is currently open for those classed as essential workers. The police and local authorities may visit premises to ascertain occupancy, so onus is on guest to provide reliable information as to their circumstances. Fines may be imposed.

This is the only official website. Information and images on booking.com are up to date and submitted by myself. Other websites may include inaccurate and out-of-date information, which I have no control over. Tripadvisor in particular shows obsolete and inaccurate representations of the property today from 2012. I have been unable to persuade them to remove despite my concerns.
