Getting here / Check-In

Check-In / Out:

It is very important that I have a close-to- reliable time for arrival to greet and arrange access. There is no Reception.  It is strongly advised to have a mobile phone to contact me to give reasonable notice on the day. Check Google Map for precise location, and images of property on b.com and here on website. There are no prominent signs [neon or otherwise] outside property. No. 48 St Martin's Road. CF831EJ

From 16.00  [weekdays & Sunday]; 14.00 Saturdays

Earlier arrivals can be arranged subject to agreement (e.g. weddings etc) and depending on room readiness. Keys can be collected and baggage dropped off from 13.00. Access to rooms cannot be promised before 14.00, as the whole house needs serviced ready for all guest arrivals. Heating does not click in until at least normal check-in times [appreciate this, especially in winter months].

Check/ Out: 10.30

From the M4 leave at Junction 32, then follow the A470 North (Merthyr Tydfil) to Caerphilly (taking the 3rd exit off roundabout, following Castle signs to Caerphilly).

If arriving from Cardiff by car take the A469 over the Mountain to Caerphilly or the A470.

Valley Line trains operate to and from Cardiff regularly. Sunday train services may be different. Schedules may change and bus replacements occur at any time.

Once in Caerphilly:

Number 48, St Martins Road ...150m from St Martin's Church (same side of the road)., next to Redbrook Court and opposite Ty Siriol NHS facility. Front door is located at side of property at the steps on driveway, adjacent to property. There is no prominent sign outside anymore. just a small obscure slate plaque. Have a visual image of property from b.com pictures and a phone handy, to ease arrival.

Parking off-road. 1 bay per room.

St. Martin's Road is situated off Cardiff Road (corner with St Martins Church and exit from train station), at the top-end of the High Street, or opposite the old Miner’s Hospital  if approaching from Nantgarw Hill (A470) - turn right at crossroads before Texaco garage if you want to avoid town .
